6th Show: December 7, 2009

December 8, 2009

Following the week long “Wesfest” film festival that Zach, the Professor, and several of their acquaintances undertook, the theme of many of the songs featured in this week’s show was music featured in or associated with Wes Anderson films.  For anyone who hasn’t seen Anderson’s works, check out Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), The Darjeeling Limited (2007), and Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009).

This week featured the most requests we have received in any show.  We love to hear from Nas Escobar and the rest of our fanbase, so keep those calls coming.

As always, those selections marked with an asterisk were selected by Zach and/or the Prof.
